How We Work

A process built around
your protection

Every step is designed to keep you informed, in control, and protected from the risks that derail most Nigerian construction projects.

We report to you only

Your contractor does not see our reports. Your supervisor is not a friend of the contractor. Independence is not negotiable.

Everything in writing

Scope, fees, findings, recommendations — all documented. Verbal conversations are followed up with written summaries.

No surprises

You will not open a report and discover something happened three weeks ago. Issues are communicated when they occur.

We do not touch your money

We advise on payments. We do not handle funds, hold funds or make transfers on your behalf under any circumstances.

Phase 01

First Conversation

Day 1
1

You reach out

Via WhatsApp, a brief message describing your project — what you want to build or fix, where you are in the process, and what is worrying you about it.

2

We respond with questions

Not a sales pitch. Specific questions that help us understand what you actually need — which might be full management, supervision only, or just a one-off assessment.

3

We tell you honestly what fits

If your project does not need us, we will tell you. If it does, we will explain exactly what engagement makes sense and what it costs.

Phase 02

Scoping & Agreement

Days 2–5
1

Site visit or remote assessment

For projects in Nigeria, we visit the site. For new projects still in planning, we assess based on drawings, descriptions and your available information.

2

Written scope of engagement

We produce a clear document: what we will do, how often we will visit, what we will report, what is outside our scope, and our fees. No verbal agreements.

3

You review and confirm

No pressure. Take the time you need. The agreement is simple — if it is not clear, we revise it until it is.

Phase 03

Active Engagement

Ongoing
1

Regular site presence

We visit according to the agreed schedule — weekly for supervision, more frequently for active construction management. We do not send someone else; the same person you spoke to shows up on site.

2

Structured reporting

Reports arrive on schedule, not when we feel like it. Photos, video walkthroughs, written observations, budget status and a clear summary of what happened and what is next.

3

Proactive communication

If something needs your attention between reports, you hear about it the same day — not in the next scheduled update. Problems do not get buried in good news summaries.

Phase 04

Financial Oversight

Ongoing
1

Payment advisory

Before you release any funds to a contractor, we review what has been done and tell you whether the work justifies the payment. You decide — we advise.

2

Expenditure tracking

Every purchase is logged. Materials delivered are confirmed against receipts. Variances from the budget are flagged and explained, not hidden.

3

Contractor accountability

When a contractor makes a claim — for extra work, for price increases, for delays caused by you — we investigate and give you an independent view before any money moves.

Phase 05

Completion & Handover

Final stage
1

Snagging inspection

Before you accept the finished building, we do a thorough walk-through, documenting every defect, incomplete item and substandard finish. This list goes to the contractor — not as a request, as a requirement.

2

Final report

A complete record of the project — what was built, what it cost, what changed from the original plan and why. Yours to keep.

3

Post-completion support

For 30 days after handover, we are available for any queries about the building or any issues that emerge. No extra charge.
